Flood Damage Can Come From Anywhere

Capstone technicians are trained to locate the source of a flood, even if it is not immediately apparent. Below is a list of possible sources of water damage:

  • roof leaks
  • gutter back-ups
  • skylight and chimney leaks
  • vent stack leaks
  • sprinkler systems
  • interior sprinkler system (fire)
  • commode overflows
  • drain lines and sewer back-ups
  • kitchen sinks
  • plumbing leaks
  • shower and tub faucets
  • shower pan failures
  • frozen pipes and slabs

Appliance failures are another common source: refrigerator leaks, ice makers, dishwashers, washing machines, disposals, a/c units, and water heaters.

Water Damage Restoration

One call to Capstone Construction is all it takes. We mitigate the water damage and repair the damage once your property is dry! Full Service means we do EVERYTHING. If emergency services are necessary, Capstone will send a mitigation crew immediately. The crew who mitigates the water damage from your property will be responsible for monitoring the drying progress and moving or removing contents affected by the water damage. The equipment will be removed after the wet area is dry, and repairs can begin!

A Capstone estimator will be assigned to your property and will be responsible for writing a scope of repairs. After the insurance provider agrees upon the scope of repairs, Capstone can begin restoring your property. A Capstone supervisor will reach out to schedule repairs. After a flood, flooring, baseboards, trim, doors, drywall, paneling, wall framing, and cabinets are often removed and replaced. We also see shower pan leaks that cause damage to shower stall walls, framing, and adjacent flooring. In some cases, if the water damage is substantial and affects more than one floor of the property, Capstone can repair subfloors, walls, ceilings, & staircases.
